Effie Pie - The 1st of October, a day I was determined to make special. October 2019 was the month you were due to have your last cycle of chemotherapy, to smash Germ Cell Cancer up and get you better. But we find ourselves in a different position, so I went home to Biggin Hill to make sure your Bubbles and Butterflies are everywhere, for your story to be heard and Germ Cell Cancer to be 'out there' for everyone to see.

Home... home is where the heart is. We've been lost without you darling, but for every moment my heart is beating... you are home with us. We can feel you with every rain drop that falls, with every ray of sunshine and with every leaf which is falling from the trees. Your presence is very much here and your story is undoubtedly being heard.
To every single person who listened to Aoife's story today, for letting us put up her beautiful poster in your shops and businesses and for your kind words - thank you just isn't enough. We are truly grateful and touched by the overwhelming outpouring of love and support for Aoife and her Bubbles.
To our Queen - I will pound every single pavement for the rest of my days in this life, making sure your story is heard and that the education is spread and that everyone will know 'the little girl with all the ginger hair' for being the superhero you will always be.
