It has been a while...

Sorry it has taken me so long to add another blog post to the website. To be truthful, life since Aoife passing really isn't easy. Aoife's Bubbles has been born at the ultimate expense. I do however, want to let everyone know the amazing things Aoife has been able to accomplish.

Most recently, Aoife's Bubbles have been able to spread joy to Great Ormond Street Hospital to honor Aoife's anniversary of her 1st passing. We were able to send to the children and their carers pamper packages, toys and afternoon tea, pizza for the nurses lunch and dinners and also 7 Samsung tablets for the children's play room. YAY!

Covid has hit fundraising hard, so it has been a huge achievement to be able to do this. We wouldn't have been able to do this without our golfers completing the 100 hole dawn to dusk challenge, raising approximately £6,000.

Which leads me nicely onto our next project, GO GOLD September. Aoife is the Biggin Hill Queen, so the whole town will be turning GOLD. September is a very special month as this is childhood cancer awareness month, so many local businesses - not just in Biggin Hill but nationwide have agreed to display gold for the month of September. This will raise HUGE amounts of childhood cancer awareness, in specific Germ Cell Cancer.

We also have in the pipe line a really huge and exciting research project - but there will be loads more on that in the next few weeks.

As ever, Aoife - my final words are to you. Simply, thank you for making me your Mummy, the hole in my heart is getting bigger and more painful but I just will not stop for you.

All my love,

YOUR Mummy xxxxxxx
